Everyday campers will have a favorite classic storybook read to them and then the book will become an adventure. The campers will use different mediums to create art that will put books into their hearts. There will also be an adventure exploring the playground pretending that the campers are part of the story. This camp will be mostly outdoors. This will be messy so please send a change of clothes.

For Students who have completed 6th-12th grade. June 22nd-26th, 9:00-1:00pm
Spend the week learning how photography can be a great way to express creativity and capture moments in time. The camp will start with the history of photography. Photos that changed the world will also be discussed. The camp will also look at famous artists and create photos that represent the artists. Everyday the campers will explore with their own creativity. Each student should have a camera or phone. Also, access to be able to send pictures to the camp director through texting or email. Students should be able to print some of their photos to share as well. (That can be done at drug stores or Walmart). This class will take place both indoors and outdoors . This is an art camp, and will not cover instruction on how to use a camera, though some skills will be taught. Students are welcome to pack lunch to have additional discussions.

For Students who have completed 6th-12th grade. June 8th-12th, 9:00-1:00pm
This unique camp will introduce campers to famous scenes from classic literature. The camp will also introduce the background of the authors as well as the history behind each book. Each day campers will work in groups to make an interpretation of a scene from some of the most famous classic books and then act out the scene. They will also work on writing their own scene from their favorite classic or a classic they may be interested in. There will be sword fighting, fun comedic interactions, and more. This camp will be held both indoors and outdoors. Students are welcome to pack lunch to have additional discussions.

Explore US history from colonial times to the civil war. Through engaging stories, hands-on crafts, games, and tea parties, campers learn about the lives of historical characters like Kirsten, Felicity, Addie and more. Students can bring dolls with them and even dress up for the time period that will be explored that day. This is an introduction to each character.

Travel through the history of Pennsylvania exploring ‘snapshots’ of the amazing history that this great commonwealth has brought to this country from the native Americans through wars to modern times. Each day the camp will create timelines, maps and explore through centuries of history with hands-on crafts, reenacting, and adventure.

Get ready for a 'Process Art' adventure, where the process of creating and experiencing the Art is far more important than the finished project. Children will participate in very messy, fun, expressive, Art, bigger and messier than ever! Campers will bring lunches and kids will have some fun water play to get 'cleaned up'. Parents are welcome to stay or not, it's up to you.

Come join us as we follow Woolbur’s wild adventure. Woolbur is a enthusiastic, imaginative sheep who is learning to process his own wool. During this class we will enjoy processing wool as well as making fun, creative, colorful art and craft projects. Class will meet at a private location in Churchtown.

Have you ever wanted to spin wool into yarn? We will spend time preparing wool fleece and getting it ready to spin. We will use drop spindles and spinning wheels to create our own unique colorful yarn. Class will meet at a private location in Churchtown.
